Returns & Refunds

If you have ordered the wrong part, or simply changed your mind, you can return it to us within 30 days for a refund. That is our own policy and it is longer than the law requires — your statutory rights, set out further down this page, are in addition to it and are not affected by anything here.

Our 30-day returns policy

You may return an item within 30 days of receiving it, provided it is:

  • Unfitted and unused. Suspension bushes cannot be resold once they have been pressed in, and polyurethane picks up marks from installation immediately. Please check the part is right for your vehicle before fitting anything.
  • In resaleable condition, complete, with all components of a kit present.
  • In its original packaging where possible. If the packaging has been opened carefully to inspect the part, that is fine.

Once we have received and checked the item we will refund it to the original payment method, normally within 14 days.

Return postage

You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, and for it reaching us safely. We recommend a tracked service — until the parts arrive here they remain your responsibility, and we cannot refund a return that never turns up.

This does not apply where the item is faulty, damaged in transit or not what you ordered. In those cases we cover the return cost. See Faulty or incorrect items below.

Special-order items

Some parts are not stock items — we order them in specifically for you. Where an item was brought in to order, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be applicable on a change-of-mind return, to cover what it costs us to put it back into the supply chain.

It will not always apply. We will tell you whether an item is special-order, and whether a fee applies and what it is, before you send anything back — so you can decide with the figure in front of you. No restocking fee is ever charged on a faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied item.

How to start a return

Please contact us first, quoting your order number and the part number you want to return, and tell us briefly what the problem is. We will confirm the return address and anything else you need to know.

Please do not send parts back without contacting us first — an unannounced parcel is slow to match to an order, which delays your refund.

Faulty or incorrect items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is not the part you ordered, tell us as soon as you can and we will put it right at our cost — repair, replacement or refund. We will arrange and pay for the return.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you have a short-term right to reject within 30 days of delivery, and rights to repair or replacement after that. Nothing on this page limits those rights.

If a part has failed in service rather than arrived faulty, that is a warranty matter — see our Warranty page.

Your statutory right to cancel

Separately from the 30-day policy above, consumers buying at a distance have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and, for EU consumers, the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

That right has its own rules on notice and refunds, and it is set out in full on our Cancellations & Right of Withdrawal page. You can give notice using our Right of Withdrawal form.

Where both apply, you may rely on whichever is more favourable to you.

Trade and business accounts

The statutory cancellation right applies to consumers only. If you are buying for your trade, business or profession, please contact us to discuss returns — we will always try to help, but the 14-day statutory right does not apply to business purchases.
